Fantasy (Album Version)

Carey’s 1995 Daydream single paired her melodic pop writing with a sample of Tom Tom Club’s “Genius of Love.” She co-wrote and co-produced it with Walter Afanasieff. “Fantasy” reached No. 1 in the US, becoming the first single by a woman to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, and peaked at No. 4 in the UK.
